Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers, Inc. awarded Three-Year CARF Accreditation

CARF International announced that Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers, Inc. has been accredited for a period of three years for its Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Adults) programs including:  Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Outpatient Treatment, Residential Treatment, Diversion and Prevention.  Also accredited are Outpatient Treatment: Mental Health (Adults) and Prevention: Alcohol and Other Drugs/Addictions (Children and Adolescents).

The current accreditation is the third consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has awarded to Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers, Inc. Melanie Blasko, President and CEO of Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers, Inc., said, “Our commitment has always been to provide the very highest standard of care. This accreditation by an independent organization affirms and verifies that we fulfill our duty and obligation to all who seek help.”

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization with outpatient offices at:  9083 Mentor Avenue, Mentor, OH 44060; 209 Center Street, Unit E, Chardon, OH 44024; and two residential facilities located in Painesville, OH .  It has been providing outpatient and intensive outpatient services, residential services and diversion and prevention services in Lake and Geauga Counties since 1971.
