LAKE-GEAUGA RECOVERY CENTERS ANNOUNCES RETURN TO IN-PERSON VISITS  AT ALL OUTPATIENT OFFICES

Mentor, OH. February 15, 2021: As part of our Phase VII Return to Work Plan, Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers announces a return to in-person visits which was temporarily suspended at all outpatient offices. This includes all walk-in intakes, assessments, individual counseling, drug testing and appointments with our Nurse Practitioner. “As the number of positive COVID cases continue to decline, and the number of people getting vaccinated are increasing, we are looking forward to getting back to in-person visits. I am very proud of our staff for their compassion and the exceptional job they’ve done in keeping our clients and each other safe, and for working so hard to keep our clients engaged during this unprecedented time,” said Melanie Blasko, President and CEO of Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers.

As we return to in-person visits at our outpatient offices, we’ve given careful consideration to preparation and planning for our outpatient meeting spaces as the health and safety of staff and clients remains our number one priority. In accordance with the CDC guidelines, we have taken proactive steps to minimize the spread of COVID-19 including extra attention to cleaning and sanitizing our facilities and requiring that all clients and staff wear a mask or face covering at all times when in the outpatient offices. While outpatient services have returned to in-person visits, telehealth will continue to be offered at this time.

As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary with a Campaign for a new men’s residential treatment facility, Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers’ current residential treatment services and recovery houses have continued to operate for those seeking admission to this level of care. We are accepting new clients and have immediate openings available in our residential treatment programs.

We know during these stressful and uncertain times that those struggling with addiction continue to need care. We are here for you and ready to help. For more information about our programs and services, or for general information, you can reach us at 440-255-0678 or info@lgrc.us.
