“This has been an eagerly anticipated event every year for the past 18 years and we expect this event to once again sellout quickly,” said Melanie Blasko, President and CEO of Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers. “The money raised from our annual golf outing goes to support the many life changing programs and services we offer individuals, families and the local community. We are so appreciative of our corporate sponsors, many of whom ask us to come speak on alcohol and drug awareness and prevention, and also look to hire our clients once they’ve successfully completed treatment,” Blasko continued.
Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers’ mission is “to promote lifelong recovery from addiction through education, prevention, and treatment regardless of ability to pay.” Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers has continued to offer the most effective alcohol and drug residential treatment in Lake and Geauga counties ensuring no one is turned away even during a worldwide pandemic.
Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers is a private, nonprofit agency providing continuous service to the community since 1971. Services at Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers are made possible due to the generous support of the Lake County ADAMHS Board, the Geauga Board of MHRS, and United Way of Lake & Geauga Counties.
