Women’s Leadership Council of United Way of Lake County Awards Grant
The Women’s Leadership Council of the United Way of Lake County generously awarded a grant to Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers to provide rocking chairs to Oak House the women’s residential treatment facility and Nowlen Manor, the women’s Recovery House. The beautiful chairs will bring hours of relaxation and pleasure to the women in recovery from addiction. Research has shown that relaxation has a significant positive impact on people recovering from addiction. Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers wishes to thank the Women’s Leadership Council of the United Way of Lake County for their generous grant to provide these beautiful rockers for our women in residential treatment and in Recovery Housing.
