Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers Celebrates 25-Year Work Anniversary

Mentor, OH, September 15, 2020: Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers, Inc., an area leader in the treatment of substance use disorders, honors employee, Valerie Egensperger, who recently celebrated her 25th anniversary with the Centers.

“We’re excited to celebrate Val reaching the 25th anniversary milestone,” said Melanie Blasko, President and CEO of Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers. “Val embodies the traits that help make Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers a leader in our industry: hard work, commitment, and taking care of others. Her experience and talents are invaluable to us and I’d like to personally thank her for her daily contributions to the success of our organization.”

Ms. Egensperger started her career in 1995 as a Finance Manager when this Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers facility was located down the street on Mentor Avenue across from the Heinen’s. To put it in perspective, the year Ms. Egensperger. began her employment at Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers, the Atlanta Braves defeated the Cleveland Indians, 4 games to 2, to win their first World Series Title in Atlanta, the final original Calvin and Hobbes comic strip is published and Bill Clinton was president of the United States.

Employee longevity is nothing new to Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers. In fact, other long-time employees that celebrated 25 years in recent years were Dave Hanlon, LICDC-CS, Residential Treatment Manager and Wendy Dixon, Executive Assistant.
