LAKE-GEAUGA RECOVERY CENTERS ANNOUNCES SUPPORT OF NATIONAL DRUG & ALCOHOL FACTS WEEK

Mentor, OH. March 22, 2021: National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week (NDAFW) is an annual health observance week starting March 22 to connect the community with resources to dispel the many myths about drug and alcohol use and addiction with facts.  One of the most fundamental facts shared during National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week is that addiction is a diagnosable, treatable illness – not a character flaw or lack of self-discipline, as it is often unfairly portrayed.

All this week, Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers will be posting daily social media posts including; National Drug and Alcohol IQ Challenge questions, interactive resources, and daily drug and alcohol factoids!

Themed Days:
Monday: General Drug and Alcohol Addiction
Tuesday: Cannabis/THC
Wednesday: Alcohol
Thursday: Prescription Drugs
Friday: Tobacco/Nicotine/Vaping
