Job Summary

Residential Support manages inventory and ensures compliance with health and safety standards within residential treatment programs. They facilitate grocery procurement, maintains cleanliness, and supports residents in adhering to program guidelines while assisting with case management and educational activities. The role also involves engaging with community resources and maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitors food and office supply inventories, prepares grocery lists, and purchases items within budget, submitting receipts promptly.
  • Ensures residents adhere to guidelines, policies, and health/safety standards, and communicates expectations clearly.
  • Maintains cleanliness of refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards, and reports maintenance issues to the supervisor.
  • Creates and submits supply orders for all residential locations, ensuring needs align with inventory.
  • Supports participation from community resources and volunteers, especially those related to 12-step programs.
  • Assists with case management and educational groups as assigned and manages normal operations and emergencies independently.
  • Upholds professional ethics and client confidentiality, including knowledge of client rights & grievance procedures.
  • Completes daily documentation, and participates in staff meetings.
  • Transports residents as assigned and remains on duty beyond scheduled hours if residents’ welfare is at stake.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of related experience preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate in work.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and off-site as scheduled.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a personal recovery program, if applicable.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Background Check and Alcohol and Drug Screen required.

Starting at $16.00/hour
