Ms. Franklin has a M.Ed. in Adult Education, A MSW in Social Work, and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC). She received her Bachelor Degree in Sociology at Towson University and a Master’s in Adult Education from Coppin State University (HBCU) in Baltimore, Maryland. While residing in Baltimore, Maryland she worked as a chemical dependency counselor for multiple treatment facilities (intensive outpatient; residential; detox; MAT).
Ms. Franklin relocated back to her hometown Cleveland, Ohio, in 2012, obtaining a MSW in 2017. Ms. Franklin changed direction and worked in child welfare as a Child Protective Services Worker (CPS III) for three years in Lorain, Ohio. She resumed working in addictions in 2020. She brings over 21 years of addiction treatment experience.
