The Treatment Engagement Specialist/PRS will utilize expertise associated with addiction and recovery experience and become a resource to individuals and families. They will serve as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator to re-engage individuals in treatment services, and to provide Peer Recovery Support services in residential programs. They provide re-engagement support for individuals who have stopped complying with outpatient or residential treatment services, as well as assist individuals in identifying barriers (internal and external) to full participation in recommended treatment services. They identify, develop and implement strategies to overcome these barriers and successfully re-engage individuals in treatment services, facilitate the individual’s reintroductions to services, assist individuals to identify their personal interests, goals, strengths and weaknesses regarding recovery and in developing their own plan for advancing their recovery. They collect and maintain tracking data, submitting reports to Risk Quality Coordinator or COO monthly, including numbers served, numbers re-engaged and other related outcomes. They also actively identify and support linkages to community resources that support the achievement of the individual’s goals and interests, maintains required professional licensure/certification, serves on Alumni Association Committee and participates in events. Completes client charting and other required documentation in a timely, professional manner. They may transport residents as necessary and assigned by supervisor, participates in agency and treatment team meetings and maintain contact by phone and/or email with recovering person after treatment completion to ensure their ongoing success to provide support in partnership with others in the agency or community if needed.
High School diploma/G.E.D, Certified Peer Recovery Supporter, Valid driver license Required
Background Check and Alcohol and Drug Screen required.
Pay: $33,280.00 – $43,700.00 per year
