Lake Geauga Recovery Centers, Inc., a private non-profit corporation providing drug and alcohol treatment and prevention services to individuals, families and the community, is seeking an experienced and innovative individual for the position of Tobacco Prevention Specialist. This full-time position is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing agency’s tobacco initiatives. Knowledge of tobacco prevention preferred as well as ability to communicate same effectively to public to promote education and prevention of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use. Position involves working with youth and adults, various community groups, individuals and organizations in Geauga County. Successful candidates will be knowledgeable in the area of community health education, behavioral health and prevention services, and possess excellent communication skills. This position does require flexible work hours. Preferred degree in Community/ Public Health Education, Social Work or Human Services. Preferred licensure: CHES, OCPS or related license.
