The ML DIP Lead Counselor is responsible for working with each weekend group of clients to present educational programs and provide screening.  Communicate effectively verbally to groups who vary in age and who come from diverse socioeconomic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Prepare didactic presentations, written assignments, and small group experiences in accordance with specified program curriculum outline and timeline.  Ensure adherence to DIP schedule in accordance with OMHAS standards.  Responsible for assisting in inspecting baggage and other materials brought to the driver intervention program.  Monitor compliance to policies and procedures pertaining to client self-administration of prescribed medication.  Completes client charting and other required documentation in a timely, professional, accurate and legible manner.  Requires residence (sleeps over) at program site during evening hours of program.  Maintains professional standards of ethics. Thorough knowledge and implementation of client confidentiality, client rights and grievance policies and procedures.  Relates and works well with peers and other program staff in professional/team approach.  Maintains positive personal and agency relationship with referral sources, community resources and Camp Burton staff.

Depending on assignment, possesses appropriate licensure including but not limited to: Physician licensed in Ohio, Psychologist licensed in Ohio, LPC, LPCC, LISW, LSW, CDCA, LCDCII, LCDCIII, LICDC or RN, CPS I, CPS II

Background Check and Alcohol and Drug Screen required.

Pay: $610.00 per weekend program
