Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers Offers Two New QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Trainings

QPR: Question, Persuade, Refer

Please join us for a brief, but very insightful evidence-based suicide prevention program. This training is intended specifically for church frontline staff including clergy, church members, food pantry workers, youth ministers, and anyone who is a leader within your religious community.

After completing this introductory training, participants will be able to recognize someone at risk for suicide, intervene with those at risk, and refer to them to an appropriate resource.

This training is FREE, but registration is required for this event. Those trained will receive certification in the evidence-based suicide prevention program “QPR: Question, Persuade, Refer.”
