Supportive Housing for Women
Nevaeh Ridge, located in Mentor OH, is a supportive housing facility for women in recovery. Open to women ages 18 and over with a substance use disorder, Nevaeh Ridge welcomes pregnant women and women with children ages 5 and under to live in a safe and supportive environment while they participate in outpatient substance abuse treatment services at Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers’ Mentor Outpatient office. By providing a stable, respectful, and structured living environment free from alcohol and drugs for this special population, we hope to increase the birth rate of drug-free babies, help maintain family ties, and ultimately strengthen our community.
Nevaeh Ridge supportive housing offers a home-like atmosphere with easy access to public transportation, churches, YMCA, community 12-step meetings, stores and social service agencies.

We believe that the development of meaningful, supportive relationships for the women is an essential ingredient for success. Therefore, we strongly encourage families to participate in Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers’ Family Program. Through our Family Program, we incorporate self-awareness and knowledge of family dynamics. We emphasize the importance of communication and understanding within the family, how to support each other emotionally and establish appropriate boundaries. Families also learn better coping skills, communication skills, responsibility and positive reinforcement.
