First meeting of Board of trustees; 111 S. St. Clair St., Painesville - three offices rented. Cash, furnishings donated; State Charter recorded, Hot line installed.
1972
First Paid Staff; Medical Volunteers began vitamin injection therapy program.

Halfway House opened for 20 men at S. St. Clair St.
1974
Women's halfway House opens at 796 Oak St.
1975
St. Ann Foundation donation of $20,000 pays part of Oak House Mortgage.
1977
Offices move to Lakeshore Trust Building, 8 N. State St. Painesville. Established First Detox Program at NEO Hospital In Madison. Center purchases men's Half Way House at 42 E. Jackson St., Painesville.
1979
Staff Develops Case records and becomes certified as a treatment provider by the Ohio Department of Health.
1980
New Outpatient offices move to Cherry Farms 1610 Mentor Ave., Painesville
1985
Expand outpatient offices to Bank One Building, 8870 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Complete merger with Geauga Center on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
1986
Officially change name to Lake Geauga Center on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, Inc. Re-open Neo Detox.
1987
Neo Hospital closes. First computer donated by Board member.
1989
Moved Outpatient offices to 8827 Mentor Ave.
1993
Design and implement Jail treatment Program with Lake County Sherrif's office.
1994
ECHO MIS system installed on 12 PC's
1996
Purchased PRIDE Drivers Intervention Program from Awareness Inc., Chardon
1999
Began two county SENIOR Prevention Program. Began Geauga Jail Treatment Program. Purchased building at 9083 Mentor Ave. Moved offices March 1, 1999. Received Community Coalition Grant for Coordination/Consultation of the Chardon Community Action Team. Drug Free Workplace started.
2000
Held the 1st Annual Community/Volunteer Appreciation Day, June 9, 2000.
2001
Drug-Free Community Support Program (Federal Grant) received.
2003
Ohio Tobacco Use Prevention & Control Foundation (Tobacco Grant) received. First annual Ride4Recovery (motorcycle ride).
2004
CATT-MIS system installed.
2004
Renamed P.R.I.D.E. to Mike Link Driver Intervention Program.
2006
Renovation of Oak House. Use of SASSI-3 for clients. First Valentines Day Annual Giving campaign. 3 year CARF Accreditation for Outpatient and Prevention Services.
2007
Changed name from "Lake-Geauga Center on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, Inc." to "Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers, Inc. "
