Choosing to live a sober life without addiction is the most significant decision you will ever make. You are to be commended for taking the first step and you can feel confident that Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers’ staff are here to help you on your way toward a more healthy and productive lifestyle. Our counseling staff are highly skilled in assisting others, showing you the compassion, dignity and respect that has been the foundation of LGRC for many years.

As a new client, we start the process by having you participate in a consultation with our staff through our walk-in intake procedure located at our Mentor office, 9083 Mentor Avenue. No appointment is necessary. If you prefer, intake appointments can be scheduled on a limited basis by calling 440-255-0678. This initial consultation is conducted by specially trained staff who will discuss the challenges that you or your loved ones face and assist in deciding the best course of action

In order to enable you to come prepared and to ensure that your admission to LGRC goes smoothly and orderly, please bring the following required information to the walk-in intake:

  • Photo ID
  • Proof of Lake County residency (Ex. – any piece of mail with name and address)
  • Proof of Income, if applicable (Ex. – current pay stubs, unemployment letter, most recent tax return, court agreement for fee payment)
  • Proof of Insurance, if applicable (Ex. – insurance or Medicaid card. Please note that we do not accept Medicare.)
